The Consorzio del Vino Brunello di Montalcino is setting up a system to provide the traceability of all denomination of origin wines of Montalcino.

The system will enable consumers to check on a series of data: the Producer, the batch that corresponds to the numbering, the analytical data of the wine and it is directly connected to the webpage of the Producer.

It will be sufficient to insert the alphanumeric code which will figure on every bottle to access these data and to obtain all information useful to a careful consumer. The system works for labels starting from Vintage 1999 for Brunello di Montalcino and from Vintage 2005 for Rosso di Montalcino.
