Podere Le Vigne, located in Sant’Angelo in Colle, a hamlet in the south-western part of Montalcino, was established in 2021 from the vision of Gigi and Antonella Barban, already experienced winemakers at Le Verzure, the estate they founded in Murlo.
The two bring with them many years of experience in the vineyards, following a path rooted in a direct relationship with the land, a pursuit of authenticity, and respect for nature.
At Le Vigne, they found a paradise for Sangiovese, thanks to its exposure, ventilation, and soil composition. These characteristics, together with their winemaking philosophy, give life to Brunello delle Verzure.
Their goal is to produce the world’s finest wine, Brunello, following the same philosophy that has always defined their work, so that every bottle expresses the authenticity of the vintage, the landscape, and the time spent among the vines.
