Barolo and Brunello – two great territories meet at Serralunga Day

The Brunello di Montalcino Consortium joined the fourth edition of Serralunga Day, held on September 13th and 14th at the Villaggio Narrante di Fontana Fredda, in Serralunga d’Alba.

The Brunello di Montalcino was represented by 17 producers of the territory, 14 of whom took part in the masterclass “Il potenziale del tempo – Due rette parallele che nel tempo convergono”, led by Gabriele Gorelli MW, Andrea Lonardi MW and Michaela Morris DipWSET.
The tasting journey featured 14 Barolo and 14 Brunello di Montalcino, spanning vintages from 1996 to 2021, offering the opportunity to compare two territories and explore their evolution over time.

The event represented an important opportunity for Serralunga d’Alba and Montalcino to meet and exchange perspectives, highlighting their distinctive identities and the ability of great Italian wines to express their terroir through the vintages.
